From Puerto Vallarta
to a loving home
in Canada.

PVCA helps rescued dogs from Mexico find adoptive and foster families in Canada — and supports every dog and family through the journey home.

01 — The street

It begins in Puerto Vallarta.

Our partners at SPCA PV rescue, treat and rehabilitate dogs found on the streets — feeding, vetting, sterilising, and waiting until each dog is ready to travel.

02 — The flight

A flight angel carries them north.

Volunteers flying to Canada bring a rescue with them at no cost. PVCA handles the crates, paperwork and meet-ups on both ends.

03 — The door

And then — a wag at the door.

A foster or forever family is waiting. The dog steps inside, exhales, and a new life begins. Quiet. Soft. Theirs.

One dog. One journey home.
Three ways to help

Every door opened changes a life.

Who we are

Second chances, flown north.

Founded in 2013, PVCA is a Canadian registered charity that places dogs rescued and rehabilitated primarily in Puerto Vallarta into loving Canadian homes. Every dog adopted opens room for another to be saved.
